- As a family, make a list of faithful people who inspire you by the way they live. Then choose one person from the list and work together to find out more about the person's life.
- Together with your family, discuss how each member gets ready for a special occasion. Share with family members about how you would get ready for a really great party!
- Have a family fire drill. Before the drill, plan the escape routes with the children and emphasize the need to act quickly. Emphasize that once out, they should never go back in the house without your permission. After the drill, talk about how important it is to be prepared in case of an emergency. Relate being prepared for a fire to being prepared to meet God at any moment.
This weekend's second reading from the Epistle to the Hebrews talks a lot about faith. What do we mean when we use that word?
